The Punjab government has appointed PTI’s founder member Shabir Sial as chairman zakat and ushr of Lahore and a notification in this regard was also issued. As per the details, Sial was made the chairman of zakat and ushr Lahore on the directions given by the Punjab chief minister. Sial paid his gratitude to the party leadership while saying that he will try best to meet the expectations of workers and party. He will take the charge of his office this week. A large number of PTI workers congratulated Sial on getting this new assignment and welcomed the decision keeping in view his old association with the party. It is pertinent to mention here that Sial has served as President of PTI’s Lahore chapter in the past. Moreover, he also held the offices of central joint information secretary and member of Central Executive Committee of PTI. He is also serving as current vice president of PTI Central Punjab.
